Genesis 50:19-20; "But Joseph replied, "Don't be afraid of me. Am I God, that I can punish you? You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people."(NLT).
Most times when we pass through terrible situations, we conclude that God is silent about our matter or that we are not good enough. I want you to know that, it is for your good. God is working out your glory through that situation.
There is a man in the bible called Joseph, this man faced rejection in the family, betrayal, denial, jealousy, hatred. He went through blackmail, false allegation, imprisonment, neglect, and was abandoned in prison. He should have thought that, it is over for me or why me? or anticipated suicide, but he kept on trusting God. Our God is a God that makes a way where there seems to be no way.
At the time Joseph was going through all this if you tell him that he will become a prime minister in Egypt, he will take your word for a joke or for a mockery. But according to God's plan, Joseph was lifted and made a prime minister. God purposely allowed him go through that suffering to prepare him for the position.
Have you considered that God allowed that trouble to prepare you for greatness? God's plan will prevail at last and you will let all those who hurt you along the way know that "God intended it all for your good".
Jesus Christ also passed through this same suffering and the bible says in 1 Corinthians 2:8; "None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
His Crucifixion led to his glorification. Your time is coming! Be encouraged.
Dear Father, I thank you for your word. I refuse to be controlled by what i am going through. I declare that my trouble will guide me to my glory in Jesus mighty name! Amen!
