Philippians 4:12-13 says; "I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength."(NIV)
In the above scripture, Apostle Paul was writing to the Philippians saying, that he is content in every situation he found himself and encouraged them to do same.
Some people do not like to adapt to unfavorable situations when they find themselves in one, they rather give in to evil means to get anything they want, but the truth is that God uses unfavorable situation to train our character, so that the fruit of the spirit can manifest in our life.
You may be in an unfavorable situation right now, do not see it as failure, disappointment or ill luck, God is working on your patience and He expects you to be hopeful in that unfavorable situation. James 1:2-3 says; "My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience."(KJV)
Now, I am not saying that an unfavorable situation is good but if you find yourself in one, give God the praise! 1 Thessalonian 5:18 says; "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.(KJV)
Dear Father, I thank you for my situation. I believe that you are always with me, I can do all things through Christ who Strengthens me. Amen!
