The bible says in the book of Philippians 2:3 "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves". When you value other people you will pray for them and not looking out only for your needs.
You may not have money to give out to those in need around you, you may not have the supplies that they demand but you do have a mouth, as you open your mouth to pray for them, it is as rewarding as those who have given them supplies.
Peter said to the cripple at the beautiful gate of the temple; Acts 3:6, "Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk." The man received his miracle that day, it was more than all the money he had collected in all his past begging years.
Your prayer for someone today may open the door to the miracle you have been waiting for all these years, bible says in Job 42:10; "After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before".
Dear Father, I thank you for my life and for giving me a mouth, I ask for your strength and ability to pray for others, and as i pray for others, may you grant me double portion, in Jesus name!
