Luke 6:38; "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."(NIV)

Some of us were givers until some people stopped us, who did not appriciate our giving due to their human nature. Another case is where you do good to people but your good becomes evil in the eyes of those you did them to, this also stop us from giving or doing good.

But our Lord Jesus taught and encouraged us to give if we want to receive a good measure. When you stop doing good or stop giving, you do not only try to please yourself or purnish those in need, you also purnish yourself and deprive yourself of God's blessing.

A good measure is an extra or addition to supplies. A good measure is a satisfactory supply. When you give, do not expect reward from those you give to. If they give in return, fine but God will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory.

Galatians 6:9; "So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up."

Heavenly Father, I thank you for giving us Jesus. I pray to have the desire to give so that I will be blessed. I reject every thought and feeling that is depriving me from giving to those in need. I receive my prosperity in Jesus mighty name! Amen!
