BE WILLING AND OBEDIENT

June 2, 2016

Psalm 32:9; "Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle or they will not come to you."

God loves those who respond to His word. The above scripture is referring to the attitude of a horse, it only responds to command through control of an external force.

Some people will only respond to God's word in times of sickness, in times of pain, in times of lack, in times of scarcity or in times of trouble, but this ought not to be so. We need God both in good times and in bad times. He is our refuge and strength, we are empty without His Holy Spirit. As believers, We are expected to live a Spirit-dominated life.

Be willing and obedient to the word of God. Do not let the situation and problems of this world decide when you fast and pray, do not let the lack or scarcity of supplies decide when you should fellowship with God. Yield to the Holy Spirit, who is your guarantee for success!

Bible says in Deuteronomy 6:5; "You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might."

PRAYER
Heaven Father, I thank you for your Holy Spirit, I refuse to be controlled by the elements of this world. I will love the Lord with all my heart and will be willing and obedient so that I will eat the good of the land where I reside in Jesus mighty name! Amen!
