Romans 4:20-24; "Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises. And because of Abraham’s faith, God counted him as righteous. And when God counted him as righteous, it wasn’t just for Abraham’s benefit. It was recorded for our benefit, too, assuring us that God will also count us as righteous if we believe in him, the one who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead." (NLT)
This is the testimony of Abraham and it applies to all those who are Abraham's seed. Verse 18 says that; "Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping—believing that he would become the father of many nations." And he received the promise, hallelujah!
Abraham considered not his age neither did he consider the barrenness of Sarah's womb and God counted it to him as righteousness.
Therefore, a righteous person is he who puts his total trust in God no matter the situation or circumstance. Have you sold out your righteousness to the devil because of fear? Claim it back by believing the word of God. God is able to do exceeding, abundantly above all that you can ever ask or think.
He is a God that raises the dead, a God that calls light out of darkness. To make the long story short, to man all these are not possible but to God all things are possible.
Heavenly Father, I thank you for your grace. I believe every promise over my life through your word, I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus! Amen!
