Philippians 3:12-13; "I don't mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing:Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead,(NLT).
In the scripture above Apostle Paul was writing to the church in Philippi telling them that though he is not yet perfect in his ways but he has sure given up his past.
To grow in Christ, it is important that you leave your past behind, new things cannot come without letting the old go. Whatever is not right in your life, let it go. You do not need to keep dwelling in the past, it will only slow down your growth process.
Today, decide to leave your past behind and move faster into your God given destiny!
Dear Father, I thank you for your plans for my life. Help me forget every past in my life so that i can speedily move into my future in Jesus mighty Name! Amen!
