Romans 5:18-19; "Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone. Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. But because one other person obeyed God, many will be made righteous."(NLT)
As some will say, it's too good to be true, but it is true! In studying the above scripture, Adam sinned and his sin brought condemnation to everyone. And we know that if you have not received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, you will be condemned in Judgement because of Adam's sin. It was easy for us to believe this and had to accept Jesus to be saved.
Now that we are born again, the bible says that we have been made righteous through Christ. Some people in Christ are still praying to God for righteousness. Why is it hard for you to believe that you are righteous if you believed you were born a sinner? Did you sin in your mother's womb? For Adam’s sin led to condemnation, but God’s free gift leads to our being made right with God, even though we are guilty of many sins.
So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. It doesn't matter what people think or what you have done, you have been made righteous through that one man, Christ Jesus. You are born again! The old, 'sinful' nature is gone the new, 'righteous' nature is here now! Hallelujah!
Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:21 "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us so that in him we might become the righteousness of God."
Dear Father, I thank you for your word. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I am growing and abounding in your grace. I will never be defeated, I will never be in lack or want, I will move from glory to glory through Christ Jesus! Amen!
