1 Corinthians 15:33; "Don’t be fooled by those who say such things, for “bad company corrupts good character.”
Studying the above scripture from the earlier verses, Apostle Paul was warning the brethren in the Corinthian church not to associate with some group of persons in the church that did not believe in the resurrection of the dead, therefore pulling the brethren away from the truth. This is the like, for some believers.
We understand that there are men and women of good character and there still are amongst us but the world has been corrupted with, technology, human knowledge and human wisdom that even those in Christ Jesus tends to rub off on it by inclination or association to the wrong group or persons. Unconsciously, we begin to lose morals and good judgement concerning basic things of life and our belief in Christ Jesus.
These things ought not to be so. Sometimes, you may be called to order, but you'll claim that you know what you are doing in association with that wrong group or persons. The word of God says that your association or company to that person or persons affects your character. And it's vice versa. As you walk with those with Godly wisdom you'll also grow in godliness.
Proverbs 13:20 says; "Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble." (NLT)
Heavenly Father, I thank you for your wisdom is at work in me. I refuse to be deceived. I am walking in divine knowledge, I am walking in divine wisdom. The word of God guards and controls my life, in Jesus name. Amen!
