Psalm 1:1-2; "Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night." (NIV)
The scripture above tells us how we can become blessed by God. You cannot be a mocker of the gospel of Jesus Christ and expect a blessing. Verse 2 of the above scripture says, those who "sit in the company of mockers", are not blessed.
It is possible that as a Christian or a believer, you are not pleased or satisfied with the things going on in your church or some other churches, thereby unconsciously become a mocker or join a company of mockers to express your dissatisfaction, today the lord is calling you back to his word.
Anytime you find yourself in this state, refuse to be a mocker, delight in God's word, meditate on it always and you'll redirect your life from mocking to living in God's divine blessing. Glory to God!
And then, Psalm 1:3 says that you will be like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither, whatever you do will prosper. Halleluyah!
Dear Father, I thank you for your word to me today. I refuse to be a mocker. I delight in your word and meditate therein. I am blessed and highly in Jesus wonderful name. Amen!
